Intention to twinning agreement between Sofia and Shanghai was signed yesterday by the mayor of the Bulgarian capital, Yordanka Fandakova and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai City Council In Itsuey. Furthermore, the two cities agreed to launch joint projects in the fields of education, culture, sports and tourism. The visit of In Itsuey in Sofia is on the occasion of an exhibition of paintings and photographs “Shanghai in my heart,” which is today 15 October at 10.00 hours. Exhibition shows the real Shanghai – the city and the people living there.
