Winter resorts officially opened the ski season in the three major mountain resorts – Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo, today officially opened the winter season. Initial estimates of the Ministry of Tourism are 4-5% increase in tourists.

All mountain resorts retain price cards facilities in the season, announced BNR.

Bansko and Pamporovo facilities today will work for free. Because of insufficient amounts of snow and warm weather in Borovets ski area will not be open.

The opening program of the season in Pamporovo provides musical performances of the special stage of the parade ground Studenetz, DJ party and raffle prizes. The celebration will continue in the evening outdoors in the center.

In Bansko the price of one-day card will be 30 lev until 20 December. On the base station will have a helicopter that can immediately help save the people in the mountains.

In Borovets for the season opening there will be a program with attractions for children.  The new thing for ski season is  double more options for snow with increased number of guns, said Luba Klenova, marketing director of “Borosport”.
