China Eastern Airlines will become the first Chinese airline to introduce a direct flight between Shanghai and Geneva, Switzerland, commencing on June 16.
The Shanghai-Geneva flight will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from the bustling Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offering travelers a convenient and efficient travel option. The return flight from Geneva will depart late on the same date, aligning with local time schedules.
Situated in southwest of Switzerland, Geneva is an important center of diplomatic and international affairs in Europe. Known as the peace capital of the world, Geneva is home to the many international organizations’ headquarters and also a popular global tourism destination famous for its Lake Geneva, the Alps, among other rich cultural heritage.
The launch of the direct flight between Shanghai and Geneva is poised to enhance travel convenience for enterprises and organizations seeking seamless connections between China and Europe.
