A heat wave is sweeping across Beijing from Saturday morning and the high temperatures are likely to continue in the coming days according to forecasts.
The thermometer is expected to hit a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
The municipal weather bureau warns citizens to take necessary precautions to avoid sun strokes.
