BrandOS rankings highlight global marketing trends

The BrandOS Global Social Media Influence Rankings for the first quarter of 2025, released on Wednesday by the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations, highlight key trends in global brand marketing and offer a reference for overseas enterprises in shaping their marketing strategies, experts said.

The BrandOS Rankings are the first non-commercial rankings to assess the performance of Chinese brands on overseas social media platforms. The council said the rankings provide detailed insights to help companies refine strategic direction, adjust marketing mix strategies and enhance brand communication effectiveness.

The council, known as CICPMC, also announced a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with OneSight, a global marketing technology service provider. Under the agreement, the two parties will work to improve operational efficiency for Chinese companies expanding internationally and help them address challenges in complex global business environments.

Established in 1993 with approval from the State Council, CICPMC is China’s leading organization focused on multinational corporations, with more than 3,700 Chinese and foreign multinational enterprises as members.

OneSight specializes in global expansion services, using big data and technology expertise to support the international growth of Chinese companies. The company has provided global marketing services to more than 10,000 Chinese enterprises to date.
