Along with a conference on advanced air mobility infrastructure development, the first Advanced Air Mobility Expo, which is set to be held from July 23 to 26 in Shanghai, aims to enhance the standardized infrastructure facilities construction and boost the growth of low-altitude economy, the expo’s organizers said Friday at a news briefing.
As part of the expo, the two-day conference will be co-hosted by the China Civil Airports Association and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). It aims to build a platform for global exchanges on the integration of technologies, capital, and policies to boost the high-quality development of low-altitude economy.
A research report on the air mobility infrastructure framework will be released during the conference, looking to contribute Chinese wisdom to global standards in the low-altitude infrastructure sector, both on the physical and information sides. The conference also expects to gather officials, experts and business leaders from various low-altitude economic sectors to speed up infrastructure construction and industrial application of research results, said the organizers.
A special exhibition area demonstrating the latest offerings in the air mobility infrastructure sector will be established at the expo. Focusing on aspects including airspace management, intelligent taking-off and landing facilities, security protection and industrial integration, it aims to expand the low-altitude economy in fields such as emergency management, urban governance, rural revitalization, and people’s livelihood services, said Wang Ruiping, chairman of the China Civil Airports Association.
Ning Feng, president of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), said that the preparation for the expo is in full swing. Manufacturing, service and operating business leaders in the advanced mobility sector are getting ready to showcase their latest products and solutions at the expo, including drone manufacturer DJI, solution provider United Aircraft, Zhejiang Geek Bridge Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd and eVTOL aircraft manufacturer Inflync.
Sun Zhongliang, chairman of the Genenkosy Intelligent Security Technology (Hangzhou) Co Ltd, said he is expecting to meet his peers and partners at the expo to build a low-altitude security ecosystem.
“We will bring our latest technology advances to the expo to demonstrate and explore more and further application scenarios with our partners. Also, we are looking forward to learning about the concepts and experience from our peers, expecting to generate some new ideas in the security sector and contributing to the sustainable development of the low-altitude economy,” said Sun.
