Every morning more than half of Japanese households breakfast Bulgarian yoghurt. This reported by the Japanese company “Meiji Corporation” (Meiji).
Company president Kazuo Kawamura met this week with the Minister of Economy Bozidar Lukarski, said the economy ministry.
From 1972 to date, “Meiji” producing Bulgarian yoghurt of Bulgarian state company “LB”. Currently in Japan Bulgarian yoghurt of “Meiji Bulgaria” is better known as a brand of “Coca-Cola” and “Danone” and 57.5 percent of the Japanese associate Bulgaria with yogurt, says the Japanese delegation.
At the meeting Minister Lukarski who is the principal of “LB” is satisfied that the good cooperation between the two companies will continue.
Kazuo Kawamura stated that in 2013 “Meiji” producing Bulgarian yogurt and markets in China, Thailand and Singapore. He was told that it encountered problems with compliance with licensing rights in some of these countries.
Bulgarian yoghurt is well known product in China too and Chinese government don’t give the right to Meiji to label it as Bulgarian Yogurt, becuse it is not Bulgarian Yogurt at all even the milk is not from Bulgaria.
Experiment of BCCCI was very successful. We put the Meiji milk produced in China in a warm place for 8 Months. The plastik case does not explode on the second day as real bulgarian yogurt. After 8 Months you could eat the “Yogurt” as cream “Bavaria” – this is fake “Bulgarian Yogurt”and is good decision that China does not give them the right to write on the Label – Bulgarian Yogurt.
