Agibot, one of China’s leading humanoid robotics companies, has announced ten local partners in the United Kingdom and Ireland as part of the Shanghai-based startup’s latest overseas expansion.
More than 300 professionals attended the company’s partner conference in London on June 30, which featured demonstrations of different robotic models, expert panels, and the official announcement of Agibot’s UK partners.
Daniel Jiang, co-founder of Agibot, was present at the conference, introducing the company’s different product series to a full house of potential partners in the event venue on the Greenwich Peninsula.
Recently, the company reached an industry milestone when its 15,000th cumulative general-purpose embodied robot rolled off the production line, just three years after its founding in 2023.
“We achieved all these achievements in the past three years, and we also expect that in the future, we can work with you. Together, we can achieve more,” said Jiang, adding that the company expects 8 percent of revenue to come from partners in the European market this year.
At the event, Agibot announced 10 partners in the UK, including Scancom, Smart City Consultancy, and LEC Robotics. Their businesses cover retail channel distribution, application scenario showcases, after-sales service, and research and development.

Shyen Kotecha, Scancom’s head of robotics and connectivity, said his company will be the master distributor of Agibot in the UK, and predicts that demand for robots in the UK is going to expand hugely over the next five years.
“The best thing isn’t just about supplying the end customer. It’s a whole chain and ecosystem together,” Kotecha said. “Initially, we think of businesses and industry players, but the industry is far and wide. We would start with education, research, and putting them in logistics, distribution, and sorting.”
Jaynesh Vanmali, principal robotics engineer at Extend Robotics, said with the iteration of the robot hardware becoming quicker and more mature, his company is focusing on developing the software that enables robots to do more dexterous tasks.
“Agibot’s hardware is really fantastic. With some of the best in class of senses, actuator, their capabilities are really advanced,” he said, adding that his company works with Agibot to train robots for real-world tasks that cannot be done by traditional automation for local clients.
Agibot has already begun local retail deployment and scenario showcases in the UK at a retail venue in Milton Keynes operated by Smart City Consultancy, where visitors can experience robots in consumer-facing environments.
