China-EU talks yield progress in Brussels

China and the European Union have made progress through the export control dialogue, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.

At the inaugural meeting of the China-EU trade and investment consultation mechanism held in Brussels on Monday, the EU side expressed appreciation for the positive outcomes achieved through the bilateral export control dialogue, He Yadong, a spokesman for the ministry, said at a news conference in Beijing.

The two sides will further strengthen exchanges and consultations under the export control work stream of the China-EU trade and investment consultation mechanism to help maintain the stability of global industrial and supply chains.
