West Air’s fleet reaches 50 aircraft milestone in Chongqing

On Thursday morning, West Air marked a milestone with the arrival of its 50th aircraft, an Airbus A320neo (B-32PV), at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. This addition elevates the low-cost airline into the ranks of mid-sized carriers and makes it the second such airline headquartered in Chongqing.

“The expansion of our fleet to 50 aircraft marks a significant leap in West Air’s overall operational capabilities, route network coverage, and strategic value,” said Wang Ke, chairman of West Air, during a ceremony later in the day.
